The two CD's don't have the same thunder

The first CD takes me back into good memories and the hits are great to play on parties; however, I was expecting more hit songs in the second CD. If I had the opportunity to buy just the first CD, I would definitely get only that one.

Okay so the price tag might not be an issue for a 2-Disc set, but the quality of the second CD makes me think this "Only Musicspace sells the 2-Disc version" is just a bundled package, I bought this for someone else and the second CD isn't even called "Tropical Thunder". It's like a spiritual sequel and it's a lousy one at that.

I recommend you buy the single-CD version of Tropical Thunder, which is actually worth the price, and not this 2-Disc Pack.

I play the CD's in the car, and I have not taken it out since I got it. I play many tracks over and over. I do think that the collection could have used more hit songs, and probably eliminate some of the other less banging Caribbean representations.

I think that it should have been a little clearer in the description that the second cd is really just one cd from another set. If I had known that i probably would not have bought the set. Luckily the first cd (the one with all the new songs) is really good and I really enjoy it. But I think it's lame that I bought this set thinking I was going to get 2 cd's with new songs instead of 1 new cd and a copy of another cd I already have. They didnt even make a new cd cover for the second cd, just put a sticker on the second cd that said it was supposed to be disk 2 of this set.

If you do not have the other set then definitly buy this set. The music is great, it's fun and it will make you dance where ever you are.
