[...] Rushed to insert the cds to make sure they were all playable. All plays well. I'm surprised to find there are no Guns'N'Roses love ballads on this set. Other than that, this is a great collection.

We drove a 4 hour trip listening and singing to the music the whole way there; it was nice and relaxing. It brought back old memories from our high school years.
There are a few songs that I would have selected a little differently but for the most part it was a good CD set.

Not nearly as many hit songs as I would have liked. The packaging was not good - - 2 of the CD cases cracked / broken.

this has to be the best bounce in time when it comes to music. Never would I have thought that I would be able to listen to something so well compilated. If you lived the hair days, and fell in love, you'll want this set.

I was looking for a CD that I could just listen to over and over in the car, but there are too many songs that I am not familiar with, and cannot sing-along to in the car. The basic hits are there, but there are too many that I don't know.

I love this because it brings back memories on all different emotional levels....there were only a few songs I did not recognize but there were also a few I expected to be a part of that collection that were not included...I guess you have to stop somewhere!

I bought the package set for my husband's birthday. We love 80's music and I thought this would make a good addition to his collection. I was wrong. GOOD is a total understatement!! We love it!! We take the discs in the van on road trips and the kids are even getting into the music!! EXCELLENT purchase. Makes us feel 16 again.

These 80's hit songs mentally took me back to my dating years, a time when life was fun. I wish there were more songs to the collection. I would like more Skid Row and Bullet Boys. They are four great CD's with some great songs! I don't usually purchase music from TV ads. I usually buy from retail stores and only buy specific CD's for certain songs. I am glad I purchased this CD set!

Monster Ballads the Ultimate Collection is a perfect addition to anyone's cd collection, especially if you are a fan of 80's hair rock. It's every bit as good as the original set that was released with more songs added to the set list. IT ROCKS!!!!

The cds are awesome; but on disc 3 it skips on the 9th song. Other than that the music brings me back to the teenage years...

The product itself had the hits that you described. However, whoever put the discs together also included a bunch of boring tracks too far in between the hits in order to sell 4 discs instead of 2 in my opinion. [...]

My husband and I are huge 80's fans and we just feel this CD set really covers some of the greatest selection! We love jammin' out while we clean the house, driving, dancing in the kitchen- just remembering the good ole' days as kids in the 80's. There are a few songs we are not familiar with, but maybe one per cd, so that is not bad! EXCELLENT mix and AWESOME set. Best off the collar purchase we ever made!!

disc 4 didn't excite me. the rest had almost every tune I was looking for. next set... bring in Beth, I'm coming home... other than that....

I got the gift for my friends birthday present and everyone loves them. The Monster Ballad Collection: the Ultimate Set is great. His mom, my mom, like about all of our friends want to barrow it for lke long periods of time. I wasn't raised listening to this stuff but its amazing. It has great hits and they're suitable for traveling or just for sitting around and having a really good relaxing time.

I'm a child from the 70's but also enjoy the big hair bands and ballads from the 80's. This is a great CD with all of the top hits. I may not have recognized all of the titles, but knew the songs immediately upon hearing them. This is a great set, well put together and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to sing their heart out to some classic 80's ballads.

This is a good set I enjoy it! Listening to it often makes me think of my girl friend when listening to some of brings a little emotion out but good she like them too! But it does lack a few hits that's the only down! But recommended!

This set has 4 discs full of music. There are only 4 songs in the whole set that I don't care for- they were hits, just not my faves. This will be listened to over & over again.

This is the best set put together that I have ever seen or heard! The mix is perfect on the CD's. The only thing that I would change is move put all the songs on 1 and 2 to 1 disc and 2 and 3 to disc number 2 and put them in ONE cd case that holds the 2. It's a little clumbersome to take all 4 cases with you when your out.
